Expecting Sunrise

This particular morning I remember I was a little sad because the sunrise wasn't so magnificent. A cloud was at the horizon making the sun emerge later and less dramatically. As I sat down in the dunes to meditate, I let go of what I hoped was going to happen, forgetting about the sunrise, and then noticed this perfection dripping off a dune reed. It instantly excited me, as would the most breathtaking sunrise, and reminded me that letting go of expectations again and again and again is always the way for more beauty to move in.

May releasing expectations bring you sun-cupped beauty!

All love,

Lucinda
